Philippe Bel is in direct decent of the twenty five chocolate makers who were installed in Saint-Etienne in the 19th century. Coming himself from the great Maison Weiss,  jewel of the speciality, and from Lenôtre, the great Parisian chocolate maker, he settled in Montbrison three years ago and has just opened his shop in Lyon since last autumn.
