C'est un des must de l'artisanat en Isère. Celui dont on ne saurait se passer en randonnée et qui, avec ses sculptures, ses peintures et autres décorations originales, raconte les vacances toute l'année dans le placard de l'entrée. Depuis 1898, la famille Boursier fabrique des cannes de montagne et bâtons de randonnée en Chartreuse.
