Guest houses, also in town

Everyone adores guest houses and they are always full. To discover a city, nothing better than getting installed for one or two nights, the owner who knows his city and its resources will know how to tell you about it and give you his good addresses.

In Lyon, city listed with Unesco Heritage, it is on the roof of a 17^th century building, right in the heart of the city, that «Les Toits de Lyon» (the Roofs of Lyon) is nestled, a beautiful design apartment, the ideal base camp before going on a mad shopping spree; the discovery of the banks of the Rhône where it is so pleasant to stroll; great exhibitions and festivals which punctuate the whole cultural year in Lyon.

In Annecy, Venice of the Alps, you will settle in the "Dolce" suite and benefit from the panoramic terrace overlooking the canal. After the "Cocon", in the old town of Annecy, Emilie and Jérome have opened two new very cosy apartments, with a touch of design in the best taste.

And to investigate all the original, trendy and unusual shops, in Saint-Etienne, which has become the real capital of Design with the Biennial event and museums, it is on the heights of the city, at the top of a flight of stairs which reminds one of Montmartre, that one can pose one's suitcases at "L' Urban Gîte", a charming studio, with an obviously refined and contemporary decoration, fitted out in the 19^th century former house of a trimmings manufacturer. After the visit of the city, you can settle in the garden, shared with the other guests, and enjoy the view over the city. Great indeed!
