Great skiing and spa in Val d'Isère

Michel Bouvier, the owner, offered himself the services of Jean-Philippe Nuel, one of the most famous and most acclaimed architects of his time.

To build this great hotel and make of it an exceptional place, he drew his inspiration from the 50s' spirit when winter sports really took off. Thus he used raw and almost rustic materials such as wood, stone and pure wool and married them with stainless steel, glass and fur.

The result is magnificent. The dark wood enhances Pierre Frey's sophisticated fabrics and all the rooms, suites and apartment have absolute and total comfort. The Lounge Bar and Lobby spaces alone, incite to a sweet laziness around the contemporary fireplace.

As for the Spa, it is rare. With a surprising bias: there is no opening onto the outside so that twilight, darkness and the brilliant water of the swimming pool guarantee rest, relaxation and an excellent mood for the treatments.

All the more so that in that the famous products "La Clé des Champs" which are lavishly used here. These prestigious organic treatments are inspired by Chinese traditional medicine which works on the principle that each organ corresponds to a season. Thus it has been noticed that cold, which weakens the kidney meridian, dries out and dulls the skin. A serum made with native prickly pear oil and a nourishing cream with extract of sweet chestnut work wonders, among other applications.
