In forest-green - mountain golf courses amid the firs

Can you imagine yourself, on the Chamonix golf-course, trying to reach the Mont-Blanc summit in only one stroke! This is one of the charms offered by the mountain golf courses, nestling amid the deep dark-green firs and spruces...

The golf is located at the foot of the « Drus », deep inside a glacial valley, on a 6 076 meters long golf course (longer than the height of Mont Blanc (!) itself). It was designed by Robert Trent Jones senior, no less!

The Clubhouse built with logs, in Finnish architectural style, totally marries with the majesty of surrounding nature. It is a very technical golf course with lakes and many bunkers acting as sentinels.

Moreover, it is not forbidden to take advantage of the high mountains and of the active town of Chamonix which offers lots of leisure and fun activities.

The golf course of «La Chapelle en Vercors» is at 900 metres alt. and partly situated on the hillside, it takes the golfers to a beautiful dark-green spruce forest, right in the heart of the "Parc Naturel du Vercors".

Keen lovers of such wild nature will enjoy the «Route des Golfs du Vercors» even more since, there, they are able to learn golf and profit from 3 different golf courses.

The Méribel golf course has had a facelift and now proposes a softer course with an attenuated slope so that you can play golf while enjoying the mountains and the panorama. To discover the lakes, waterfalls and greens set in the forest, you can also choose to stay in one of the numerous hotels of the resort and who do a great job of welcoming mountain lovers during the summer months and propose really attractive stay formulas.
