Hot-air balloon with one’s family

Since the Montgolfier brothers, natives of Annonay in Ardèche, invented the hot-air balloon; the path was set for man to conquer the air with planes, rockets, gliders, helicopters and other flying machines. But for about thirty years hot-air ballooning has become once again a sport accessible to all. For that purpose, it has been necessary to appreciably modify the invention.

Franck Béjat was among those stubborn people who created the French Aerostation Federation. Admirer of Saint-Exupéry, born in the region, he also applied himself to convince the authorities to rename Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport. To honour an authentic genius, who was also a poet and an adventurer.

Since then with "Air Petit Prince" and the charming drawings of the great Saint-Ex works, as huge images printed on balloons, he takes enthusiasts early in the morning or late in the evening (depending on wind in summer) to discover the earth from the sky. And silently ...
